Eastern traditions and philosophies state pretty clearly that “You are not your mind”. Western practices, having evolved through many flavors of world traditions, also make the noted point that we must strive to move beyond the mind.
This is considered a difficult task even if you live in seclusion. You probably don’t. In fact, you probably live in this world, have a job, family and at times a merciless amount of mundane tasks to perform. Yet despite your lack of isolation, you are still asking yourself to know that you are not your mind and to move beyond it.
What if the mind wants to fight this? It will probably win if you were to get into a battle with it and attempt to force it to do your bidding. I have fought my mind countless times on my path only to find myself tired and beaten from the experience. » Read more
To truly understand the gift of magic we have inside of us called “love”, we have had to experience it in all of its fascinating and complicated interpretations. In doing this, however, what we have found over these long lifetimes of study is that it’s not very complicated at all. It’s not complicated now because we can finally make a comparison and understand. There are two kinds of love. One that is on its way out and one that is on its way in.
The one that is on its way out, funny…is the one that is based outside of you. Yes, it is leaving. It is the one that says you’ve needed love. That is not true and pretty important to see. We’ve been taught to believe that we needed love because we couldn’t remember that “love” is what we have always been made of. We knew it was important to us somehow, but since we didn’t know how to find it inside or even how to look inside, we’ve been searching for it out there.
Through religion, relationships, martyrdom and control we have very mistakenly thought there was something out there that was needed in order to fill that need for love…self-worth…approval. But in keeping the focus on this need to “fill”, what has happened is it has also kept each person looking outside of themselves and deeply away from the exploration of self to locate where Love is actually found. » Read more
Working in the energy and clean technology industry is an interesting place to be. I witness just how far apart and dualistic things can seem and also how perfectly and seamlessly everything is very much tied together.
In this industry there is a struggle to both fight and accept the changes that are already occurring. Many industrialized leaders do not want to be severed from their economic benefits of the old ways (to be expected), and many consumers do not want to upset the convenience of their current lifestyles (huh..).
Maybe it’s because the mountains of complexities seem insurmountable - just as they do when we’re looking at our own internal energy production methods and the possibility of clear, sustainable self-production and stasis. » Read more
Lightening up and lifting the frequency of the physical body is, in a way, the task at hand as we all collectively step into a new frontier. It happens when we meditate, practice yoga or immerse ourselves into the creation of something we love. While we do these things, we are stepping out of time, letting go of the heavier qualities of our lives that our minds LOVE to hang onto, and aligning with our inner selves to bring clarity, awareness and inner peace.
As we begin residing in the higher planes of existence here on Earth a little more and more each day, it’s easy to see that “time” is acting differently as of late.
I notice that time is becoming way more pliable and can work both with and against me. A good visual I have with “time” is one where all of the timelines that have been, are, and will be are currently blending together, not for the creation of a new timeline, but for the liberation from time and all of its limits. » Read more
